Budgetting for an exhibition
Taking part in a trade fair or exhibition has many associated costs. So that you can budget accurately, get quotes and estimates for the following:
The cost of the exhibition space (there will be a choice of different booth sizes and shapes).
The cost of your exhibition stand, shelving and display cases. Transport expenses of same.
Extra furniture hire – your stand may only have a single table and chair supplied in the price.
Other charges such as electricity, water supply and waste removal.
Staff costs: hotel and food bills, travel, any extra cover needed back in the office while they are absent.
Entertainment costs: will you want to wine and dine customers?
Freebies and giveaways, if you consider these will be useful.
Printing and distribution of press packs, extra business cards and catalogues.
Printing and mailing invitations to new and potential customers.
